We’d like to inform you about a recently identified security issue affecting cPanel’s nightly updates.
If your server is running a cPanel version newer than 11.40.* (and not one of the secure versions listed in the advisory), it may be vulnerable to potential ransomware risks.
We strongly recommend updating your cPanel/WHM to the latest secure version as soon as possible to mitigate this issue.
